Langkawi..is really nice place. i went there few times but i did not know why people love to holiday in Langkawi. i went there for company fmaily day twice...shopping trip once and i feel it is really boring island before. so i went there again on last Thursday. We booked a package from Air Asia Go Holiday- return flight ticket+ 3 days 2 nites at Awana Porto Malay. So don't get headache to find hotel anymore :)

1st day:

Our flight was at 730am so need to wake up at 4 and take a cab to LCCT. So we reach Langkawi about 830am. Actually the flight duration to Langkawi only 45 minutes. We already book the car (rental). we booked Myvi but we got Lancer and....it was really good car. it cost us only RM70 per day. So we start our fun trip to Langkawi Cable Car. This place actually inside the Oriental Village. Thank god, not too many people there because it still weekday. The cable car is quite fun. quite windy and a bit scary..but i love it. From the top of Gunung Mat Cincang we can see the sea and the panorama was really amazing. There was a bridge which connecting the other top. it was really adventurous to walk down hill few meters....and the bridge is really wonderful. very nice place. if don't have strong leg..don't walk to teh bridge. it will make u really tired. So fater that...we drove back to hotel and buy some foods from Warung Jangus. The foods(nasi campur) was very delicous. So we reach our room at 1530pm and we were really tired so we took a nap..until 6 pm. hahha. slept actually...

So we went out again at 7pm to shopping mall near Kuah Jetty to buy some toileteries. forgot to bring all those things. then we turn on our Garmin, looking for nice seafodd restaurant and it show Medan Ikan Bakar. So we follow the GPS to the location but...there is nothing at the location excpet few small restaurant. so we decided to try Haji Ramli Ikan Bakar. We have Ikan Kerapu Masam Manis, Sotong Goreng Tepung, Friend Butter Prawn & Kangkung Goreng Belacan for about RM95 ringgit. it was quite good...delicous..after that we go back to hotel...really sleepy...

Awana Porto Malai

2nd Day:

So we very excited to go for Island Hopping. We found that, from Awana Porto Malai also got package for Island Hopping. Its quite impressive for local tourist which cost us RM35 for adult and RM20 for kids. Well, it is quite cheap. I just wondering because there were lot of European tourists around there then all of them walk into the same ferry. So i ask the boatman where they were going? Actually they going to Koh Li Phi, Thailand. A very nice island without commercial development..with cheap seafonds and nice view. One day return trip will cost about RM270 but you also can book a nice chalet in the island.

The first stop was at Pulau Dayang Bunting. A very nice island with beautiful lake. Be carefull of the monkeys there. Don't carry plastic bags because the monkey very interested of it. But you need to climb about 7o meters before you can reach the lake. Only 1 hour allocated for us.

The 2nd stop is, eagle feeding area where you can see a very big eagle catch the fish.

The final stop is Pulau Beras Basah. A beautiful beach where you can swim. Don't worry if you were thirsty because there was a stall selling soft drinks

This Island Hopping took about 3 hours.
